This is the first protein shake I've had that actually tastes better with water! Reeeeaaally close to asian yogurt. So far best results are with cold water. Good stuff!

I absolutely love this protein, very much resembles yakult and I love the added probiotic aspect. 2-3 scoops in the morning with breakfast for me with just water and it’s perfect!

Tastes like exactly what you'd think! Super tasty. That being said though, I've found that Yakult comes in tiny bottles for a reason. 16+ oz of it may just be too much. That being said I half the portion and use 8oz of water and it's the perfect little bit of protein and yogurt flavor!

Honestly, it tastes more like a slightly tart vanilla. But you can definitely see the Yakult inspiration. I mixed it with water, it does foam a little bit, but the foam subsides very quickly. With water, there were no clumps, and very little to no protein taste. The taste is good enough on its own, but it’s such a mild flavor, I think this would also be a great add for quick smoothies/slushies/ninja creamis. Would def buy again!

Love to mix this with some matcha powder in the morning to get my day started. Delicious protein powder with good ingredients.

Well, I have to say the product is almost there. It is a decent flavor for what it wants to be, a little more cloyingly sweet at about 12-16oz, but I generally use about 20-24 oz based on my bigger blender bottle size, I mix it with greek yogurt vs. Icelandic skyr and passionfruit for a yogurt shake. With water alone, the blend is not very smooth. I almost always find clumps of citric acid that looks precipitated which then makes the drink less tart than I would like, but I've already finished the mini in terms of number of servings in about 2-3 weeks based on just cravings alone rather than number of work outs so I give it a win.

Love this flavor! You can only have so many chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry shakes for so long until it gets boring. This Asian Yogurt flavor is amazing and not too sweet.

Second time purchasing the same flavor. Have tried many different brands but never liked them as much. Absolutely my favourite protein powder out there.

Honestly, the flavor is way too weak for the cost. If you drink yakult for the flavor rather than the "health" benefits, then this is more like a watered down yakult flavor. I'd say it's about 30% of the original sweet/tart you get from yakult, and the rest is just bland. I don't taste any sort of "bad" protein flavor, but I definitely don't really taste yakult all that strongly. If thats your thing and you don't want the normal yakult flavor because its too sweet or whatever, go for it. If you're expecting close to almost spot on yakult flavor, this unfortunately is not it.

Nasty! Straight up nasty, if I can send it back I would. I seen a review that says this website buys their reviews and I didn’t believe it then, but now I do. There’s no way anyone likes this. It does NOT taste like the yogurt. Very powdery.

My kids turned me on to Momo's Asian Yogurt drink, knowing I love Yakult, and I've been drinking it daily after the gym. I was reluctant to try the pre-workout, but Momo sent me a sample and I'm sold! It doesn't leave me feeling amped up and strung out like C4 or the GNC brands. Going back for seconds!

it’s so light and refreshing, with a flavor that i grew up with! shaking it with ice actually makes a substantial difference so i would recommend it!

I really liked the Asian yogurt flavor, it was a subtle level of sweetness which was nice because most protein powders I have tried were clawingly sweet to me. I really like the transparent label that answers all my questions in a super cute design. Like the label mentions it definitely blends better in a milk type product, I only put it in water and I found it can be clumpy even after using an electric hand whisk. A simple solution to this problem is whisking with only about a cup of water, when it seems a bit frothy you can add your ice and the rest of the water and you won't find any clumps! I like using the powder every morning and I switch it up by using it as a yummy protein base to varying energy powder drink flavors that I have. When I have a dessert craving I actually mix it with strawberry protein milk and it hits the spot! I purchased 2 large tubs and will be making my second purchase!

Asian Yogurt is one of my favorite proteins right now, especially when I’m craving a Yakult but don’t want to intake all that sugar. I’m adding about two scoops with ~18oz water, seems to work well for my taste palette.

Third time buying from Momo and I can’t get enough! Tastes just like Asian yogurt (maybe even better than the regular Asian yogurt ) with less of what’s bad and more of what’s good! I even took it with me when I traveled overseas for work!

Usually I don’t like the taste of protein powder, but I wanted to try this one cause it sounded unique and I love Yakult. I was very surprised how good it tasted. I tried the mini to give it a shot and now i’m looking to purchase the bigger size one! Will def be using this as my regular protein powder from now on!

I want to first say that it arrived very fast as a first time customer. The design on the packaging is adorable and I'm waiting to see results after some usage. My main complaint is how much space isn't filled inside the container. I want to say 1/3 of the container was pure emptiness which was a waste of space and gave the appearance there was more than there actually is (like, why not adjust the container to how much filling there is?) My 2nd complaint is that it didn't actually tasted like an asain yogurt 100%. My partner finds it tasty but I was let down in the taste factor. My resolution is to mix it with actual asain yogurt drink in the end.

This is my favorite protein powder of all time. It tastes great. The little bit of sourness from the yogurt really cuts through the usual cloying sweetness and heavy cream taste of most whey powders. This is the third 25-serving tub I've purchased, and it lasted only 9 days. I actually wish they made bulk sizes so I don't have to go through so much plastic.

Flavor is very light, a little too light where it almost taste mute, even when used with very little water. Other than that its not bad or anything just wish flavor was more prominent.

It doesn't taste great. I tried it with water, milk, soy milk, almond, rice milk. I would not purchase again. It does not taste like Asian yogurt or yakult. I don't understand what these great reviews are about

Full transparency: I recorded a video and am posting this review for a discount code. I recently started back on my fitness journey and didn't want the usual chocolate or vanilla protein powder. Been seeing this for a while now and decided to try it out! I've only had it for a few days, so I still need to get the ratio down, but it tastes more vanilla-y to me with the tart coming in at the end. I prefer it with just ice and water, as mixing it with milk just makes it taste more like vanilla to me. I do like that it's not sweet, and it mixes well! Will I buy it again? Definitely! I might try the matcha next once it comes back in stock!

I never bought something so fast. It really does taste like yogurt! And there’s probiotics. My dietician approves and it’s never been easier for me to get my protein intake. I bought the big jar after trying the small jar and I pray this company and flavor stays forever because I never liked any of the regular protein flavors they offer at the stores. I struggle with protein intake and have been working with doctors to gain muscle for my health. The yogurt flavor protein shake has been one of the highlights of my day. On the market for low carb protein powder… I usually take isopure but flavor has been meh lately, collagen peptides are great but hard to take on its own… the yakult flavor powder has been great, don’t even need milk/almond milk, I just mix it with water and some ice and voila! So easy, only 120 calories, packed with protein. Leaving this video and review so I can buy a second one with a discount :D

This is the BEST protein powder I have ever tried. We don't own a protein shaker and it still mixed up wonderfully. It tastes like yakult with a little vanilla note. My sister says it's a white chocolate and yakult combo. Either way, incredible. Especially good with plain water, definitely the vibes of the yogurt we know and love. Will be buying more!

It is a bit more difficult to blend, but it’s fine! I do quite like the taste, it’s like yakult and milkis! I very much appreciate that it isnt thick and creamy style because I normally HATE whey proteins. This one is fantastic! Slightly tart, not too sweet. Does not taste good warm or blended in a blender (too much air, too frothy). Best served with ice for a refreshing drink! No weird aftertaste

It's pretty decent and I like that it tastes better with just water unlike most other protein powders I've tried. However, it's twice as expensive as almost everything out there (the 1 lb is pictured next to ghost which is 2 lbs for the same price), so not sure if I'd get it again. Tastes great though!

I grew up in an asian household, where in place of soda, we had Yakult and instead of popsicles, we had frozen Yakult. I was so excited to see protein powder that is inspired by my childhood staple so I HAD TO get it. I personally like this quite a bit because it's not ridiculously sweet like other protein powders and while the milky flavor is on the stronger spectrum when compared to actual asian yogurt, it's so reminiscent of my childhood drink, a little sour, a little milky - it feels like a little treat every time. Let's start the breakdown with the taste. It is similar to asian yogurt but not completely and that makes sense because it has that distinct whey protein powder taste. I will add that I taste that whey flavor with every whey protein powders, even when it is a flavor that complements milky flavors, like vanilla, so I don't think it's a bad or good thing; it just is. If you're not into that whey taste, coupled with asian yogurt tangy notes, this may not be for you. I noticed that you do have to mix quite aggressively or for a while to not have little chunks. When I'm at home, I use a frother instead because it leaves no chunks at all. Either way, I don't get any grittiness - it's actually quite smooth, almost creamy in texture. When you do get the chunks, it's not unpleasant but the sourness is definitely concentrated. It also tastes better with water (imo, approx. 9-10oz was the best) than milk. The whey already makes it taste more milkier than an actual asian yogurt and by using milk just made it taste like sour milk. I absolutely love that it tastes better with water because it makes this so much more convenient to take on the go since I always have water with me. Highly recommend!

As someone who grew up drinking this flavor yogurt, it’s pretty close! Also, as someone who is doing low carb, this has been a great alternative while getting some added protein without the sugar! Super excited that this flavor is available now! I can have my yogurt green teas now!

First time ever trying protein powder so I was super nervous but I can honestly say this is worth it! It doesn’t taste chalky but it also isn’t too sweet or artificial tasting. Post-workout having this I feel great and find myself looking forward to this part of my day.

Absolutely loved this flavor. Had 5 drinks on the day I got it, will definitely be ordering more. It’s not marketed as clear whey protein, but it comes very close to that consistency. As someone who can’t stand the thick milky texture of other protein powders, this was perfect.

Love the consistency. W/ 8oz of water its not too thick like other powders can be. It did feel like it was missing something though- not quite yakult. I put half a pump of sugar free lemon syrup and it tasted a little bit closer. I also tried a pump of sugar free strawberry syrup and it was delicious!

I've tried a lot of protein powders over my fitness journey and this unfortunately does not reach a satisfactory level. As much as I wished I could enjoy it, there's a rotting milk smell to the Asian Yogurt one, (and i grew up drink asian yakults all my life), and there's a very artificial taste to it. Same with the Matcha Softserve. It smells awful and tastes mediocre. More like grass than matcha. I had 5 of my fitness friends also try both out, and we all didn't like it.

BIG LOVE for the MOMO whey protein asian yogurt flavor. It tastes just like y*k*lt or those other Asian probiotic yogurt drinks. I'm not a generally a fan of the regular vanilla and chocolate flavors of protein shakes because they are too sweet, thick and cloying. This one is perfect, not too sweet, a little tart, totally refreshing. It's fantastic on its own, but I like adding some unsweetened grass jelly to get an instant boba tea shop drink! Will definitely purchase again!

Momo Asian Yogurt Whey Protein has quickly become one of my favorites. It smells great, mixes effortlessly in a shaker bottle without clumping, and has a smooth texture. The slight tartness gives it a unique and refreshing taste, similar to a real yogurt drink, without being overly sweet. I look forward to drinking this after workouts.

I ordered the mini version of the yogurt protein powder. My partner loved it so much that I found the container almost empty when I went to make for myself! Definitely planning to order more!

Needed something more on the tart side. Alone it’s an awesome way to curb my boba cravings. As a spin instructor my guilty pleasure is justifying boba after teaching a class, but with this I can curb the craving and recover from a rigorous workout as well. The flavor tastes like Ya**** (can we use that name? ) with the very mild powdery taste, throw a bit of ice and get it frothy enough it’s not noticeable at all. But add a tablespoon or two of actual yogurt (I used low fat greek), you get not only a protein boost but a flavor boost! Either way, I’ve added my sugar free syrups to change the flavor profile so I get more than one type of drink from this protein. Will definitely be buying again!

Of all the Asian-inspired flavored protein powders I've tried so far, Momo's Asian Yogurt is currently my favorite. Since it's yogurt-based, I don't feel the need to add more milk, but I will try it to see how the flavor profile changes, if at all. I prepared it with water and ice and it was so refreshing! Like getting that Yakult flavor but not having to feel like you're only getting a single shot. They're winning the race so far in my books!

Taste was off and barely tasted like “Asian yogurt”. It doesn’t dissolve well even after a ton of shaking in a mixer bottle. Terrible aftertaste.

The flavor is approaching Yakult, but there's still a very protein powder flavor in there. I only tried it mixed with water to start, because I really wanted to get the full effect of the flavor. I think it could use some more tanginess to be more true to the source material but it's not bad by any means. Definitely a fun shake-up from regular proteins on the market like vanilla or chocolate.

It’s actually really good! I’ve stopped using whey protein for years because of the consistent taste from chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, etc. I tired of it all and switched to clear protein for a while. Stumbling upon this company and learning they have my favorite type of drink I had to try it! If you like mild sweetness with some tart taste I recommend this. It’s an adult yakult that has probiotics too!!

Tried with milk the first time (delicious) and then half milk, half water the second time and it was the perfect recipe! The flavor profile is perfect and luckily it doesn’t make my stomach hurt at all in love with it. My sister tried some with matcha too and it was amazing ☺️✨ will be purchasing the large size immediately!

I really wanted to like this, but the whey protein flavor is just so strong and honestly i just don’t get the yakult flavor they were going for. it has a funky taste that’s hard to get past. i love yakult and was super excited to give it a try but i’m pretty disappointed.

Bought both the Matcha and the yogurt flavor and the taste was surprisingly good. Mixed reasonably well, I prefer using milk to mix it for better flavor.

It mostly just taste like whey protein with a hint of yogurt. But the funkiness of the yogurt and whey combo just taste horrible IMO. It also did not mix well with water or milk.

The flavor of the Asian yogurt protein is definitely reminiscent of the Yakult we all grew up drinking. I do wish it tasted more tart, however, because I associate yogurt drinks with that lactic flavor and slightly dry mouth feel. This tastes like if you had all the sweetness of Yakult minus the yogurt flavor, which was slightly disappointing to me. This could be tasty if you added it to other things, such as a smoothie or even sparkling water to make a protein Milkis tasting drink. I would still recommend this if you want to try something new that is not a traditional protein powder.

this is my first protein powder and based off of what i’ve heard of other ones (and ones i have smelled) i think this is pretty good! i got the yogurt one, and as an asian girl who has grown up on it, its not totally inaccurate. i would say it tastes different from the original yakult but it does have a similar taste overall. it tastes like off-brands of yakult. it has a slight cream/vanilla smell like other protein powders i will say. otherwise, for my first protein powder its pretty good!

Believe the hype! I loved the matcha soft serve flavor, so when I saw the restock for the Asian yogurt flavor, I had to try it. I was so happy when it arrived since it was out of stock on my first time buying from MOMO. As far as flavor goes, it is delectable. It tastes just like Yakult, if not better, depending on your choice addition of water or milk. Sometimes, I even get cheesecake vibes with creamier solvents like coconut milk. However, oat milk with a bit of water is the go-to for replicating the Yakult flavor. If you are looking for more (extrinsic) motivation for working out or just a new and unique supplement flavor, look no further because this makes a great sweet treat to look forward to after gym sessions!

Tangy and sweet. Doesn't taste very accurate, but also, I used water more often than not. Drinking it with milk for sure tastes more accurate. I loved this though! Didn't leave me bloated whether I had it on an empty stomach or with food. I will for sure be buying again!!

Sigh, I took a leap of faith with this Asian Yogurt Protein and was very disappointed. The flavor was very faint and only in the aftertaste, even with water. It tastes and smells mostly like baby formula.

The protein is good if you're used to the Asian yogurt taste however, it has a slight strawberry flavor to it which isn't expected from just the packaging alone. I wouldn't buy it again but do recommend to others!

its pretty good, but not yakult tasting though. Tastes more vanilla than i thought but better than most protein powders i had. There's no weird aftertaste or anything. The only downside is that it doesnt mix well when only shaking it, only when you use a blender or hand mixer. The blending issue only happens when mixing it with 1 cup if water, but with more water it'll blend better normally, but the taste of yakult will fade with more than 1 cup of water. Overall, its pretty unique and good. I do reccommend.

I’ve always struggled with drinking protein because of the taste. I bought the yakult flavor & actually really liked it ! I mixed it with cold water & after a few times, it honestly tasted like a smoothie. It mimics the yakult flavor pretty well, lacking a bit of the citrus-y flavor. This is now my go to protein powder!

Y’all this is actually my favorite protein powder ever (Asian Yogurt Drink)! I’ve been working intensely for a year now and have tried every protein powder under the sun (I’m even an ambassador for one brand) but MOMO takes the cake! It dissolves beautifully and the taste is so true to the name. I am now a loyal MOMO customer and I can’t wait until they release other supplements/ pre-workouts!! Whenever they start selling workout clothes I am definitely going to buy
