Believe the hype! I loved the matcha soft serve flavor, so when I saw the restock for the Asian yogurt flavor, I had to try it. I was so happy when it arrived since it was out of stock on my first time buying from MOMO.
As far as flavor goes, it is delectable. It tastes just like Yakult, if not better, depending on your choice addition of water or milk. Sometimes, I even get cheesecake vibes with creamier solvents like coconut milk. However, oat milk with a bit of water is the go-to for replicating the Yakult flavor. If you are looking for more (extrinsic) motivation for working out or just a new and unique supplement flavor, look no further because this makes a great sweet treat to look forward to after gym sessions!

Tangy and sweet. Doesn't taste very accurate, but also, I used water more often than not. Drinking it with milk for sure tastes more accurate. I loved this though! Didn't leave me bloated whether I had it on an empty stomach or with food. I will for sure be buying again!!

Sigh, I took a leap of faith with this Asian Yogurt Protein and was very disappointed. The flavor was very faint and only in the aftertaste, even with water. It tastes and smells mostly like baby formula.

The protein is good if you're used to the Asian yogurt taste however, it has a slight strawberry flavor to it which isn't expected from just the packaging alone. I wouldn't buy it again but do recommend to others!

its pretty good, but not yakult tasting though. Tastes more vanilla than i thought but better than most protein powders i had. There's no weird aftertaste or anything. The only downside is that it doesnt mix well when only shaking it, only when you use a blender or hand mixer. The blending issue only happens when mixing it with 1 cup if water, but with more water it'll blend better normally, but the taste of yakult will fade with more than 1 cup of water. Overall, its pretty unique and good. I do reccommend.

I’ve always struggled with drinking protein because of the taste. I bought the yakult flavor & actually really liked it ! I mixed it with cold water & after a few times, it honestly tasted like a smoothie. It mimics the yakult flavor pretty well, lacking a bit of the citrus-y flavor. This is now my go to protein powder!

Y’all this is actually my favorite protein powder ever (Asian Yogurt Drink)! I’ve been working intensely for a year now and have tried every protein powder under the sun (I’m even an ambassador for one brand) but MOMO takes the cake! It dissolves beautifully and the taste is so true to the name.
I am now a loyal MOMO customer and I can’t wait until they release other supplements/ pre-workouts!! Whenever they start selling workout clothes I am definitely going to buy

Flavor not really what I expected. I don’t expect protein powder to ever be delicious but for the most part it has a rather mild yogurt flavor but not quite a yakult taste. Overall is just okay, was expecting a little more of a yakult taste.

I did not like this flavor. It's a bit sour and the whey flavor is very prominent. I also got matcha and would buy that one again, but not this one unfortunately. Gave 3 stars for the protein and the probiotics.

I really wanted to like this as a huge yakult fan. But unfortunately this was a big miss for me. The powder mixed alright, but the flavor profile just tasted like nothing with a hint of that yogurt flavor at the end. I couldn’t get myself to finish the drink.
Beyond the flavor, they were prompt with shipping and I received my tub pretty fast.

This blended nicely! I did 4 oz almond milk, 4 oz chilled water and added ice. I had no clumps and the texture was smooth.
I absolutely love this flavor, reminds me when I first tasted the yogurt drinks at Hmart! It’s tart and not too sweet. Also, doesn’t have a noticeable aftertaste. Definitely recommend and will be purchasing again!!

I love this protein powder,its my starter tub for trying protein and shakes I gotta say,what a delicous mix! The yogurt flavor is very much there and while it still tastes like a shake,it’s definitely the most pleasant one I have ever consumed! Definitely going to get the Matcha flavor next!

My favorite protein powder brand was discontinued so I thought I’d try a new one… packing was so cute! I love the stickers that came with it. 25g protein in a serving is awesome. However, I was a little disappointed with the taste. I mixed it with water and the “protein” taste was very apparent to me and made it hard to get down. It was slightly reminiscent of Yakult but didn’t scream it. I will try to find creative ways to bake with the powder since I have a whole tub to use up lol

As per instructions, it recommended using water for a taste closest to the actual "asian yogurt drink". Even if it does still have a slight whey protein taste, I'd say it's almost undetectable! The way I prepared it was to blend the powder, water, and a few ice cubes together. Very yummy.

A fairly accurate taste that's quite sweet with little to no clumping. Beats another basic vanilla or chocolate. Added some Yak*lt for extra kick and it helped bring out the flavor even more.

I am OBSESSED with the taste! It doesn't taste EXACTLY like Yakult but similar enough to remind you of the nostalgic childhood drink. Beware, the probiotics packs a PUNCH and is not for the weak. I usually have trouble digesting but a half hour after drinking, I had to absolutely GO.

Let me just say from a lactose intolerant girl this was amazing post workout. I didn’t get that heavy bloating feeling afterwards and still felt pretty full. The texture is really creamy and light. You almost forget you’re drinking protein powder. To me this is a win as I already have a hard time trying to finish my shakes but this was so easy to drink. If you’re thinking just buy it, 100% worth it. And it’s great price per serving!

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't taste bad. But it certainly does not taste like Yakult. I am Korean and I grew up drinking Yakult. It is still my favorite drink. I can drink the whole row in one sitting. So I got super excited when I saw this. Took a screenshot and waited a couple months and finally got it. A little disappointed and won't be getting again. It tastes like one small bottle of Yakult + 3 cups of powdered vanila milk.

It’s a large container and it even came with cute stickers!
However the flavor is very very subtle. I think I was hoping for a 1 to 1 comparison in flavor and it’s not quite there. It’s still very delicious

The first protein powder I'm consistent with! I've noticed that other protein powders make me feel bloated and take me forever to finish. Not this one! The flavor is spot on to Yakult with the tangy yoghurt taste and is so good with just water and ice. 10/10 will be repurchasing and trying out the other flavor.

I am a person who hates anything protein powder related but decided to give this a try. Anything mixed with water that’s actually GOOD is a plus for us. The yakult flavor in this is pretty perfect in terms of sweetness and tart. I think MOMOfit did a great job getting it as close as possible. Super easy to mix and drink! Plus the aesthetic packing is so cute and convincing for the booty gains and probiotics. I’m gonna try the matcha soft serve next :) looking forward to future other flavors as well.

I tried a couple of other brands’ protein powder before but had never been able to drink it because of the taste and the sweetness. But Momo’s yogurt protein is a good balance of sweetness and tartness, and I finally found a protein powder that I can actually drink!! It still has a whey protein taste because it's whey protein powder, but this is the best protein powder I've ever tried. I can't wait to try their matcha flavor next!

I tried the 'Asian Yogurt Drink' protein powder. It was soo good and it not too sweet (iykyk lol).
I do want to say that it does taste like Yakult, but the taste isn't quite there, but it's almost there. I understand that it's a unique flavor and challenging to nail the flavor. The protein powder has a tangy and tart taste like Yakult. There's a hint of an orange creamsicle taste too and I think that's why it's similar to Yakult.
Anyway!!! I definitely would buy it again. I received it almost two weeks ago and have been drinking after my lifts. :)

I know the Yakult taste 100%, and this powder misses the mark quite a bit. Obviously this has the standard probiotic smell to it, since they are in it. But yea… Don’t get your hopes or expectations too high like I did initially. Still a good protein powder regardless!

This flavor is pretty spot on! Just the right amount of sweetness and tartness, with a hint of vanilla. I still taste the whey(but they the product itself is based with whey protein), however, it's very slight compared to other protein powders I have tried in the past, the asian yogurt drink flavor blends well with it making it pleasant to drink!

My bf bought this for me and.. idk who’s writing these reviews bc it tastes nothing like yakult.. it’s super artificial and watered down. Also they’re made from a lower quality whey (concentrate) and sucralose, so the 1/5 is for the ingredients too :(( really wanted to like

best protein powder i've tried!
first, the asian yogurt drinks were one of my favorite snacks after school growing up, and this tastes just like it (very nostalgic). second, i'm lactose intolerant, so finding a good tasting protein that wouldn't make me feel sick was always tricky. not only does this taste good with just water, but it doesn't make me feel sick. most protein shakes are super sweet and too heavy, but this is PERFECT. it's super light, tastes good, and i actually look forward to drinking it. i have been recommending this to all my gym rat friends :)

There is very little protein powders that I enjoy whole heartedly with water alone. This one does it SOO well! With water it has a tangy flavor that is just enjoyable. It doesn't leave that protein flavor lingering in your mouth either. This is also one of those flavors that just isn't out there or that you do not see very often. They really did wonders with this product and I cannot wait to finish all of my protein powder to get another one.

Gains meets nostalgia
I never would have imagined a flavor like yakult, a drink and flavor I grew up with as a kid, could end up in a protein powder, but here we are! It really does taste like yakult and it is DELICIOUS! It tastes great with water and even better with milk (well oat milk if that counts)! It's the perfect amount of sweetness and has a nice touch of tart at the end of each sip, just like the yakult drink. No weird after taste or feeling sick afterwards like other products I've tried. The ingredients are high quality and a single scoop goes a long way! The label is awesome as well, with a fun and thoughtful design. Love everything about this product, can't wait to buy more!

Honest review here -- I've had many types of protein powder over the years, including ON, Ghost, and Muscle Milk, and this is by far the one that really stands out.
The taste is impressive. It's the perfect level of sweetness and tastes just like Yakult, which is hard to pull off since it's such a specific flavor. I also appreciate that it goes down smoothly and leaves no "protein after taste."
As an added bonus, the design and aesthetics is great. I'll definitely try the matcha flavor after I finish this one!

I’ve had Pro Jym, Gold Standard, ISO100 and other proteins and this is by far, the best tasting protein I’ve had. It’s nice to finally have some Asian flavors in the protein industry. The key factor is that this protein does not have a lingering aftertaste like the other ones do. Definitely recommend!

This is the BEST protein shake I have ever tasted in my life. No joke.. I used to not drink protein shakes that much because even all the well-known protein shakes tasted nasty. I was so shocked that MOMO was able to make a protein shake that doesn’t leave you with that nasty after taste but also able to make a yakult flavor! if you are sick of the generic vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream… flavors give this a try!!! It’s the best tasting protein shake I ever had!!! I hated how all the well-known protein shakes tasted like but this protein shake tastes really good even with water. WATER.
